New England Style House
West Bridgford: This new house was built in American New England style with weatherboarding and dormer windows.
Window and door frames were imported from America by the client. The roof is best Spanish Slate. Approx floor area 4,000sq feet.
Bungalow Roof Conversion
Cropwell Butler: Originally a seventies style bungalow with a trussed rafter roof.
We converted it to give a second floor in keeping with the adjacent properties – pantile roof with traditional dormer windows to the front and ornate corbelled brickwork to eaves and gable-ends.
To the rear there is an English Oak framed kitchen extension.
Hair Salon
The building that is The Hair Room has an interesting past. Derelict for some 15 years this dilapidated building was bought as a refurbishment and investment project.
The building had previously been a general store and was used as a film set in the film “This Is England.”
Now fully refurbished the building has given the locality a great lift – no longer a place for young people to linger and get into mischief – now a place for some highlights or extensions !
Two Storey Extension
Normanton on the Wolds: New garage, two storey extension to left-hand side, new oak front porch, all new hardwood windows and a new front drive.
Internally: A new bathroom and shower room with associated electrics, plumbing and ceramic tiling.
